Technical Recruiter (Electrical Engineering)

job summary: 

we are looking for a dedicated technical recruiter to, screen, and hire diploma-certified candidates for various technical roles. The ideal candidate should have experience in talent acquisition, especially for blue/grey-collar and skilled trade positions. 

key responsibilities: 

• identify, source, and engage with polytechnic diploma-certified candidates for technical roles. 
• conduct preliminary screenings, interviews, and assessments to evaluate candidate skills. 
• coordinate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and candidate specifications. 
• maintain and update a database of qualified polytechnic diploma candidates. 
• build and maintain strong relationships with diploma institutes. 
• ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires. 

required skills & qualifications: 

• diploma in electrical engineering. 
• 1-2 years of experience in recruitment, preferably for technical or skilled workforce hiring. 
• strong networking skills and ability to build industry relationships. 
• excellent communication and negotiation skills. 
• understanding of technical job requirements and workforce trends. 
• ability to multitask and manage multiple job openings efficiently. 

preferred qualifications: 

• experience in recruiting for manufacturing, construction, or industrial sectors. 
• knowledge of compliance related to blue/grey-collar hiring.
