Job Description
- Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance, such as oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotations
- Repair: Repairing or replacing worn parts, such as brake pads, wheel bearings, and sensors
- Inspection: Conducting comprehensive inspections of diesel engines and related components, including assessing fluid levels and quality, testing electrical systems, and evaluating engine part condition
- Diagnosis: Running diagnostic tests on vehicles and analyzing the results
- Test driving: Test driving vehicles to determine if the maintenance issue has been properly fixed
- Record keeping: Maintaining detailed records of serviced vehicles
- Inventory: Maintaining a parts inventory and ordering new parts if necessary
- Consultation: Consulting with clients on maintenance and preventative procedures
- Shop cleanliness: Ensuring the cleanliness of the shop
