Drone Pilot

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Drone Pilot with expertise in DGPS operations, drone data processing, and Litchi and DJI software proficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience working with geospatial data and the ability to generate and manage KML/KMZ files for mapping and analysis purposes and be capable of operating drones across all authorized flight zones. This role involves operating drones for various applications, processing collected data, and ensuring the accuracy of outputs.

Key Responsibilities:

Drone Operations:

Operate drones in compliance with safety guidelines and legal requirements.

Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections.

Plan and execute drone flights using Litchi, DJI, and other flight planning software.

DGPS Surveying and Mapping:

Conduct DGPS surveys to capture accurate geospatial data.

Utilize DGPS equipment to enhance the precision of drone operations.

Data Processing and Analysis:

Process aerial data using relevant software for topographic mapping, 3D modeling, and other geospatial applications.

Generate and manage KML/KMZ files for data visualization and analysis.

Software Proficiency:

Operate and troubleshoot DJI drones and software applications.

Use Litchi for advanced flight planning and mission execution.

Work with mapping and GIS tools for data integration and reporting.

Project Management:

Coordinate with clients or teams to understand project requirements.

Deliver accurate and timely outputs while maintaining quality standards.

Compliance and Documentation:

Ensure adherence to legal, safety, and ethical guidelines.

Maintain records of flight logs, equipment usage, and project deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in drone operations or remote pilot license.

Experience with GIS software such as QGIS, Global Mapper, or ArcGIS.

Knowledge of photogrammetry and 3D modeling software.
