Responsible for operating drones to assist in agricultural practices. This role involves monitoring crop health, conducting aerial surveys, and applying fertilizers and pesticides. The pilot must ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain the drone equipment.
Responsibilities• Drone Operation: Fly and operate agricultural drones for crop monitoring, soil analysis, and aerial spraying of pesticides and fertilizers.
• Data Collection: Gather and analyze data from drone flights to assess crop health, moisture levels, and soil conditions.
• Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance checks on drones to ensure they are in optimal working condition, including battery checks and equipment inspections.
• Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements related to drone operations.
• Collaboration: Work with farmers and agricultural specialists to interpret data and provide actionable insights for improving crop yields.
Qualifications• Education: 12th pass & above. Or a degree or certification in agriculture, drone technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Certification: 'May possess' a valid DGCA-approved drone pilot license for commercial operations.
• Experience: 0-1 year of experience operating agricultural drones, with a focus on spraying applications and data collection.
Skills Required• Technical Proficiency: Ability & knowledge to handle technical hardware products.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze aerial imagery and data to identify crop health issues.
